GRANT OPPORTUNITY FOR COMPANIES - but you'll need to act fast, you've only got until the end of June 2008! CSV’s Dare to Care campaign has grants of £50 - £250 to give to youth, community groups and schools to help them take a stand against child poverty. |
We are looking for groups to organise activities that will raise awareness of child poverty or do something to increase the life skills and experiences of children in their area. Alternatively, groups may already have an activity planned but be willing to brand it with Dare to Care resources – we’re happy to support these activities with one of our grants too! Activities benefiting so far include homework clubs, football festivals, radio programmes produced by young people, arts and craft days, financial inclusion workshops, aerobics classes, vegetable planting and free swimming lessons! The campaign is running until the end of June 2008, the application process is quick and simple and the cheques are provided up-front within 2 days of application. Grabbing a grant could not be easier so please contact Sarah Bromley on 0131 622 7766 or email sbromley@csv.org.uk and make sure your organisation is benefiting from the support of Dare to Care. |
