CashBack for Communities is a Scottish Government initiative that uses funds recovered from criminal activity to support positive activities for young people.The Small Grants Scheme will provide grants of up to £2,000 to support youth groups to provide positive opportunities for Scotland's young people. The Girls' Brigade in Scotland is managing this pilot scheme in partnership with five other national, volunteer-led youth organisations; Boys Brigade, The Scout Association, Girlguiding Scotland, Youth Scotland and Clubs for Young People (Scotland). |
NEW SMALL GRANTS SCHEME LAUNCHED TO SUPPORT YOUTH GROUPS IN SCOTLAND All member groups of the six partner organisations are eligible to apply for the funding, which will fund start-up costs up to £1,000 and programme or activity costs up to £2,000.
