THE GIRLS’ BRIGADE IN SCOTLAND OFFICERS’ SUITS - AS FROM 6 APRIL 2009 As you will be aware, there has been on-going difficultly in the supply of Officer suits. We are happy to say that this has now been resolved and that suits will now be supplied directly from Alexandra Workwear. The contact details are:-Lindsay on 0131 335 4800 where suits can be ordered and paid via Switch, Credit Card or (by prior arrangement) cheque. There are several advantages to this new system including:- Suits will now be able to be purchased as separates, with a choice of 3 skirt lengths. This will allow skirts to be purchased that will sit comfortable on the knee as per uniform regulations The cost will now be approximately £60, with an approximate postal charge of £4.95 The skirt is fully washable, with the recommendation being that the jacket is dry cleaned Sizing is comparable to that of Marks and Spencers Effective immediately, GB Supplies will no longer hold suits in stock and all queries or correspondence about suits and the ordering of them will be between Alexandra Workwear and the individual leader. We hope that all members will find it an easy, cost effective solution to what has been a lengthy problem.
