Girls' Brigade Scotland Patron - HRH The Duchess of Rothesay

The Girls' Brigade in Scotland was pleased to announce the appointment of their new Royal Patron at their 2009 Annual General Meeting.  Members warmly welcomed  the news that Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Rothesay (known as the Duchess of Cornwall in England, Northern Ireland and Wales) was to take on this role.

HRH, The Duchess of Rothesay was pleased to visit Aberdeen Division in September 2009.  This was her first official visit to see the work of Girls' Brigade and girls of all ages gave her a very warm welcome as they proudly displayed their activities.  Our new Patron was a big hit with girls and leaders who enjoyed meeting her and sharing the 'GB Experience' with her.

HRH is always keen to know what is happening in the GB world in Scotland and we look forward to welcoming her to other areas in the future.
