Adults in GB

In Girls' Brigade Scotland we value our leaders, all of whom are volunteers who freely give their time and talents to help their girls and communities.  While the girls are vital to us our companies would not operate without Commissioned Officers or Auxiliary Helpers of whom there are nearly 2000 across Scotland.  Many leaders have been girls in GB, going on to take up a leadership role after their time in Brigaders, but some come to us with no GB experience at all. If you are interested in becoming a GB leader please see the next section about how to do this.

Did you know that our 1930 leaders give approximately 350,000 hours of voluntary service at local, Divisional and national levels each year?
