Churches and the GB

All of our Companies are attached to a Church or Mission who have invited adult leaders to form a company. The Minister of the Church and the governing body of the Church will work closely with the leaders to ensure that the company operates effectively as part of the Church family and the wider community.

Our motto is 'Seek, Serve and Follow Christ' but membership is open to girls and young women of all denominations and none. Often we find that Girls' Brigade is the only contact with the Church that a young woman has and through Christian leadership and a well balanced programme we aim to offer girls the chance to learn more about Jesus and his teachings and, in doing so, learn about service to others within a relevant moral framework suitable for the 21st century.

Starting a Company in your Church

Advantages of a Girls Brigade Company
