Update: Website Registration Process

With the opening of the GB Online shop, we have now opened the website registration to the public so that parents can make orders.

From now on, we will not require people who register an account on the website to send us the Website Registration Form to activate it. As such users can now access the website with their username and password as soon as they register.

Leaders will still need to send the Website Registration Form to allow us to give them the permissions that they need to access the Leader's Resources section of the website.

News for Students!

Want to help connect students? Facilitate a GB Europe18-30s Nexus group.

Are you student who has moved away from university? Have you found life too hectic to commit to a local GB group? Still want to be connected to GB? Yes? Then be part of a local GB Europe 18-30s Nexus group and be connected to the wider GB family. Nexus, which means connect, is a new initiative created by GB Europe.

Nexus groups are small clusters of GB 18-30s who aim to have fun and share faith together. They are completely managed by its members and normally meet twice a month – at a time and place convenient to you.

So come and be GB together in a new expression of GB for the 18-30s generation.
The Oxford Nexus has already been operating for six months – they have enjoyed coffees together, Glee parties and home cooked dinners as well as exploring the Sophia Network’s ‘In the Image of God’ Bible study. Contact Charlotte Hendy on gbnexusoxford@live.co.uk for more info.

And we are very excited to announce the creation of the brand spanking new Edinburgh Nexus facilitated by local GB Scotland leader, Claire Harris. Are you in Edinburgh? Do you know someone who is? Please share this info with them. Claire is looking forward to hearing from them on gbnexusedinburgh@live.co.uk.

Fizz’s ideology is based on John 4:14;

GB Grand Balloon Race Launch

Thanks to everyone who supported the GB Grand Balloon Race which took place on Sunday 18 September from the Boys’ Brigade Pollock Pavillion in Edinburgh.

Despite worries about the possibility of adverse weather conditions affecting the launch – it was September in Scotland after all! - everything went without a hitch and the sight of almost 2,000 red, white and blue balloons streaming up into the Edinburgh sky was a sight to behold.

We await with anticipation the return of the tickets telling us the final destination of each balloon and can only imagine where the winds have carried them to!

Good luck to everyone waiting to see if their ticket is the winner!
