This roadshow is one of a series of events being held across Scotland between October 2019 and March 2020 which aim to bring members together to determine how to keep Girls’ Brigade fresh and relevant in order to appeal to new and existing members. This event is FREE to attend, includes catering and is open to all but we would ask that at least one representative per company attends 1 of the 5 events on offer.
If you would like to attend the Cumbernauld event it is essential that you book a ticket to reserve your place using the facility below. Multiple tickets can be reserved in the one transaction however, please do not register anyone for this event unless you are certain that they plan to attend as doing so will incur unnecessary expenses for GBS and may prevent others from being able to come along.
Financial support is available for anyone who has to travel more than 30 miles to attend these events however if you require this you are asked to book train or bus tickets well in advance to ensure that costs are kept to a minimum. Likewise if you are planning to travel by car you are urged to consider car sharing within your Company or Division to minimise travel expenses. If you would like to take up the offer of support with travel costs please indicate this during the checkout process.
Each Regeneration Roadshow will be led by a mix of external facilitators, key volunteers and members of staff and will include the following in the programme:
- Mental health and wellbeing
- Spiritual health check
- Delivering quality programmes
- Supporting young people with additional needs
- How we make ‘GB – The Place to Bee’
- Q&A session with key volunteers and staff
Please note that the event timings provided are approximate at present and will be confirmed closer to the date of the event.
The closing date for registering for this event is 14th February 2020.
